Computer Training in 1/2 the Time! |
|
Patti Hammerle, owner of U-Can Computer manuals, is an Indiana University graduate with a BS in Finance and an MBA. She has over 15 years experience in training adults in corporate, college, and public settings. After leaving the work force to stay home with her first child, Patti offered to teach computer classes at the local library, where she developed the classes and the class material. As the demand for more classes grew, she was hired as a consultant to oversee the hiring of new instructors, to schedule the classes and to write new manuals for additional classes. The program became so successful that other libraries in the county hired her as a consultant to replicate the program. U-Can Computer Manuals was created as a way to market the manuals to libraries outside of Hendricks County. Patti is also a part time faculty member at Indiana University Kelley School of Business where she teaches K201—The Computer in Business to undergraduate students. She has a wonderfully supportive family (see below) and lives in Brownsburg, Indiana, with her husband and two boys. |

Lynn Davis, part time editor, works full time for the Indiana Department of Education where one of her primary tasks is desktop publishing. Not only does she proofread the manuals on the side, but she is also Patti’s mom. |

John Hammerle, Patti’s husband, also graduated with a BS in Business and an MBA from Indiana University. He started his career at General Motors in the Finance Department but has since moved to Operations, where he is a full time Production Manager. On the side he helps with the business planning and financial decisions for U-Can Computer Manuals. |
