What are the manuals like?

All the manuals are double sided with a 110# cardstock cover and coil binding.  The average number of pages is 45, except for Computer Savvy Seniors which is 165 pages.

How do I use the manuals?

The majority of libraries use these manuals for the computer classes they offer to the public or to their staff.  The classes can be given in one 3 hour class or split between two 1.5 hour classes. However, some libraries buy sets to keep in their reference sections or computer labs and others put them out for circulation.

How many manuals should I order?

This depends on your budget and your needs.  Some libraries buy the number of manuals to match the number of computers they have for training.  The students can use the manuals for class, but cannot take them home.

Other libraries offer a manual for each student to use during class and keep. This works especially well if you charge for your classes.

How far ahead should I order the manuals?

We can usually turn around an order in 2-3 days.  Shipping then takes 3-5 days.  A 10 day lead time will usually be sufficient, but often the whole 2 weeks is needed.  Please call us at 317-852-3827 to verify this information.

Are the manuals copyrighted?

Yes, the manuals are copyrighted and cannot be reproduced for resale or any other use.
